The Deanship of Student Affairs at Al Ain University –Al Ain Campus- participated in the “White Cane Walkathon” which is organized by the Emirates Association of the Visually Impaired in Sharjah, under the supervision of Mr. Adel Abdullah - Chairman of the Board, with a participation of number of the university’s staff and students, in addition to the participation from the institutions and associations who are responsible of the blinds people in the United Arab Emirates.

This walkathon comes concurrently with the occasion of the “International Day of Blind” which comes on 15 October and it celebrated globally, to increase the awareness, knowledge and understanding of the rights and needs of the blind.
