A Health Lecture at AAU about "The Professional Patient"

In cooperation with the College of Pharmacy, the Deanship of Student Affairs in Al Ain University –Al Ain Campus- organized a lecture entitled “The Professional Patient”, presented by Mrs. Catherine Paula McLean from Caduceus Medical Center, in the presence of Dr. Ibtehal Aburezeq –Dean of Student Affairs- academic staff and college’s students.
The talk focused on her experience of being a patient navigating the journey of breast cancer treatment, whilst having a professional background in healthcare, specializing in quality and safety.
It is worth to mention that the speaker is a qualified nurse from UK having 30 years’ experience in management, teaching and clinical roles with the NHS (UK) and healthcare industry.
