Awareness Lecture about Alzheimer’s Disease

On the occasion of the World Alzheimer’s Day, the College of Pharmacy at Al Ain University, Abu Dhabi Campus, organized an awareness lecture entitled “Alzheimer’s disease and how we deal with the people that have this disease”, presented by Dr. Khaldoun Mazahem, Consultant Neurologist from American Center for Psychiatry and Neurology– Abu Dhabi.
The lecturer talked about the definition of Alzheimer's disease, its symptoms, types, causes, diagnosis and treatment, stressing on the importance of the family role in helping people with the disease.
