Discussion Session at AAU about "The Generation of Electronic Applications"

In collaboration with “Khalifa” library in Al Ain University -Abu Dhabi Campus, the Deanship of Student Affairs organized a discussion about "The Generation of Electronic Applications" taken from global books synopsis published by Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation, presented by Dr. Iyad Abdulmajeed -Deputy Dean of Student Affairs.
At the beginning of the discussion, Dr. Abdulmajeed talked about the reading importance to develop the intellectual, social, scientific and economic aspects in the society and the challenges of reading in the presence of new digital and electronic applications, he stressed on the book's importance as a basic for information reference, no matter how much ever information is available online.
At the end, Dr. Abdulmajeed pointed out that the open discussion between students have scientific, psychological and social benefits more than the closed discussions rendered through the social media, stressing on the need to open the way for students to restore friendship between them and the book.
