A lecture on Managing a Personal Budget successfully

The Deanship of Student Affairs in cooperation with the Professional Development Unit at Al Ain University organized a workshop entitled, “Managing your Personal Finance through successful Budget”, for academic and administrative staffs and AAU students, at Al Ain Campus.
The workshop was presented by Dr. Adel Ahmed, Director of the Professional Development Unit, who defined the personal finance as the science of managing your money. He also talked about different topics such as; how to manage your spending, prepare a realistic budget, ways to save, how to manage credit, how to pay off debt, how to invest to make your money work for you, and how to plan to reach your own financial goal.
Dr. Adel said; “You can take control of your money in just a few simple steps, instead of feeling like it controls you”, he added; “It's never too late to create financial goals now for the money stress-free future”.
Dr. Ibtehal Aburezeq, Dean of Student Affairs, stressed on the importance of this lecture for AAU’s family, which teaches how to control the financial decisions and activities of an individual or household, and how the Personal finance is covering earning, saving, investing and spending and involves analyzing your current financial position.
The aim of this lecture is to encourage the audience to predict short-term and long-term needs and execute a plan to fulfill those needs within individual financial constraints.
