AAU participates in a Walkathon for the Breast Cancer

Al Ain University participated in a Walkathon organized by the Medical Service Department, in cooperation with Al Ain Police Directorate and Mediclinic Hospital, with the participation of a number of governmental and private institutions. The Walkathon comes in solidarity with breast cancer patients, and in order to raise awareness of the disease.
Al Ain University aims, through this participation, to contribute to raising awareness of breast cancer and the importance of early detection, which contributes in saving many lives, also to enhance the spirit of humanity and social solidarity in cooperation with relevant institutions to support awareness programs through activities and initiatives on this disease to reduce, prevent and combat it.
It is worth to mention that, this Walkathon came coinciding with the awareness month of breast cancer.
