AAU hosts “Mediclinic” in the World Cancer Day

The Deanship of Student Affairs at Al Ain University, Al Ain Campus, hosted Dr. Rania Hussain from Mediclinic Al Jowhara Hospital to present an awareness lecture about the Cancer, coinciding with the World Cancer Day, in the presence of academic staff and students of the College of Pharmacy.
Dr. Rania gave a definition of cancer, its types, methods of prevention it, and the role of the Mediclinic to raise awareness of this disease and conduct periodic examinations to detect the disease early. In addition to the lecture, Medeclinic Hospital provided free blood pressure, cholesterol and other tests.
The event, aimed to promote health awareness among students and employees.
