AAU plants a Ghaf tree, in collaboration with Takatof

Al Ain University, represented by the Deanship of Student Affairs, received a number of volunteers from “Emirates Foundation –Tkatof Program- “to plant a Ghaf tree in Al Ain campus.
This initiative, launched by the Emirates Foundation on the occasion of the Year of Tolerance, was attended by several AAU academic and administrative staff. The Dean of Student Affairs (Dr. Ibtehal Aburezq) stated that AAU is the ninth institution in Al Ain city, who did plant a Ghaf tree. She also said that AAU is very proud to plant this tree, which symbolizes the tolerance and reflects the connection to the homeland and society, and the importance of volunteering in Emirati culture.
