AAU ranked within 71-80 among top Arab universities by QS

According to QS Arab Region University Rankings 2021, Al Ain University (AAU) has been ranked within the top 71-80 Arab universities. Which proves the distinguished performance of the university in terms of developing the education.

Dr. Noor El Deen Atatreh, AAU Chancellor, said that; “This classification confirms the high position occupied by Al Ain University among other universities, it also, stimulates the AAU community to work efficiently in the upcoming years to improve the quality of education, and enhance the International reputation of the University through its academic programs and scientific research”.

Atatreh pointed out that the university’s classification in this rank represents a wonderful distinction, which is a clear evidence of the Al Ain University’s presence among Arab universities.

Prof. Ghaleb El Refae, AAU President, said that this ranking is achieved by the AAU family and their continuing efforts, he also pointed out that the AAU is constantly developing to achieve its strategic objectives to become one of the leading educational institutions in the region.

El Refae pointed out that the university was able to advance in its ranks after it was among the top 100 Arab universities in the past classification, which proves the outstanding performance, hard work and efforts made at Al Ain University to improve the quality of education and academic outputs within a diverse and distinct environment.

Dr. Nazih Khaddaj Mallat, Director, Quality Assurance and Institutional Research Center, expressed his pride of AAU’s classification in being among the top 71-80 Arab universities, stressing that the university will continue to strive for excellence in its academic programs, research, training, and learning.

QS World University Rankings is an annual publication of university rankings, which evaluates universities based on ten indicators, such as; Academic Reputation, Employer reputation, Faculty/Student ratio, International Research Network, Web Impact, Proportion of staff with a PhD, Proportion of International Faculty and Proportion of International students.

It also worth to mention that AAU got 5 Stars in Online Learning based on QS Rating 2020, and got the Highest QS Stars Rating in Teaching and Inclusiveness in 2019.

Al Ain University offers 6 colleges that include various programs and specializations at the level of Bachelor's, Master's and Postgraduate professional diploma in teaching. It is licensed by the Ministry of Education in the United Arab Emirates and many of its programs have prestigious international accreditations.
