“Into the new world with 5G” highlighted on the new technologies

The College of Engineering organized a seminar entitled; “Into the new world with 5G”, presented by Ms. Goh Wey Ping from Huawei and organized by Dr. Qutaibah Al Thebyan- Dean of the College of Engineering, in the presence of the Scientific Research Dean, Faculty members and AAU students.
Ms. Ping presented, how Mobile communications have profoundly changed peoples' lives. Despite this, the pursuit for higher-performance mobile communications is never-ending. Also, she highlighted how the fifth generation (5G) of mobile technologies, has been pushed forward to adapt to the explosive growth of mobile data traffic, massive device connections, and emerging new services and application scenarios.
Finally, she Highlighted some 5G application, and new features, ushering in a new era of Internet of Everything (IoE).
