Khalifa Library organizes a workshop about Mendeley

As part of the university’s keenness to support and facilitate research activities for students, the Khalifa Library at Al Ain University (Al Ain Campus), in cooperation with the College of Business, organized a workshop on the “Mendeley” for students registered with Dr. Maha Rahrouh in the “Scientific Research Methodology” course.
The workshop was presented by Dr. Abdoulaye Kaba – Library Director. Dr. Kaba began the workshop by talking about the specifications and functions of the “Mendeley” system. Through the live demonstrations, Dr. Kaba gave detailed explanations on how to store references, organize them, search them, and insert bibliographic citations in documents. He also explained how to use “Mendeley” for managing research activities,
discovering researchers and scientific research papers, creating a team for scientific research, and communicating with team members. At the end of the workshop, the trainer answered questions and inquiries from the students.
