The College of Engineering organizes a workshop entitled "Cryptology with CrypTool2"

The College of Engineering at Al Ain University (Abu Dhabi Campus) organized a workshop entitled “Cryptology with CrypTool2” presented by Eng. Rima Masri.
The workshop aimed to introduce Cybersecurity students to Cryptool2 and reinforce the concept of Cryptography and Cryptanalysis using this tool.
The students learned how to use Cryptool2 to encrypt plaintext & decrypt cipher text using classical and Modern encryption techniques such as Caesar cipher, Vigenère cipher, Transposition cipher, RC4, and RSA. In addition to that, they learned how to use different templates provided by Cryptool2 to break different ciphers.
