Workshop about the effective use of Scopus database

As part of information literacy activities, Khalifa Library at Al Ain University organized for the students and faculty members a workshop about the effective use of the Scopus database. The workshop was delivered by Mr. Wael Mansour, Customer Consultant for Elsevier, and moderated by Dr. Abdoulaye Kaba, Library Director. During the workshop, Mr. Mansour discussed different search strategies, identifying and selecting appropriate journals, comparing journals, and how to effectively use journal performance through Scopus journal metrics. The workshop was attended by the Deans, faculty members, and students.
