A Workshop on Special Design Applications Using SAP2000

The Civil Engineering Program at the College of Engineering at Al Ain University (Abu Dhabi Campus) recently conducted a workshop titled "Special Design Applications Using SAP2000 Software," aimed at enhancing students' practical skills in structural analysis and design, supervised by Dr. Omar Najm.
The students were guided through the details of SAP2000, a widely used software tool in the engineering industry for modeling, analyzing, and designing various types of structures, where the workshop covered a range of topics, from basic software navigation to complex design scenarios, providing participants with hands-on experience and practical insights.
The College of Engineering continues to prioritize the integration of cutting-edge technology and practical learning opportunities in its curriculum, preparing students for successful careers in civil engineering, and this workshop is part of a broader initiative to equip students with the skills needed to excel in a rapidly evolving industry.
