No-Tobacco World Day

The Deanship of Student Affairs at Al Ain University, Al Ain, in cooperation with Al Jahili Health Center, organized a health event on the occasion of World No Tobacco Day under the slogan (Smoking Threatens Our Lifes). It included a lecture on smoking, its harms and the diseases it causes, its impact and danger to the smoker and those around him, and methods of combating it.
The lecture was presented by Dr. Hazem Al Khalidi, a family medicine specialist at Al Jahili Health Center. The center also provided free blood pressure and sugar cholesterol tests, and comprehensive periodic examinations for some female and male employee
