Al Ain University has secured the 17th position in the THE Arab University Rankings 2026, unveiled exclusively during the “THE Arab Universities Summit 2025” held last week in Amman, Jordan. This achievement reflects the University’s steadily rising prominence among higher education institutions in the region and underscores its commitment to excellence in education, research, and community engagement.

Al Ain University’s participation in the Summit aligns with its strategic plan to strengthen its regional and international outreach. The event brought together leading voices and decision-makers from higher education, government, and industry to explore solutions to the economic, societal, and environmental challenges facing Arab countries. Discussions highlighted the role of applicable research outputs, new technologies and innovations, and enhanced equity and access for learners across the region.

Prof. Nazih Khaddaj Mallat, Vice President for Accreditation & Quality Assurance, contributed to a panel session titled “Reimagining Graduate Employability,” where he shared insights on future workforce skills and the responsibility of universities in preparing graduates for an evolving labor market.

This recognition in the international ranking, coupled with the University’s active engagement in the Summit, reaffirms Al Ain University’s ongoing commitment to institutional development, competitiveness, and leadership among Arab universities.
