The College of Engineering at Abu Dhabi Campus organized its first Engineering Capstone Project Showcase, featuring the participation of students from various specializations. The event was overseen by the college and coordinated by Dr. Layla Amairah, Mr. Yazan Al Ahmed, and Eng. Taqwa Al Qudah.

The showcase aimed to strengthen the link between academia and the professional sector by presenting graduation projects that reflect the cumulative knowledge and skills students acquired throughout their academic journey. A total of 37 projects were presented as scientific posters, through which students showcased innovative solutions to real-world challenges. The projects were evaluated by a panel of 20 experts from industrial institutions and governmental bodies.

Attendees from both public and private sectors praised the quality and creativity of the projects, emphasizing that the showcase reflects the students’ competence and professional readiness. They also provided valuable feedback and constructive recommendations to further align the projects with market needs and technological trends.

The organizers affirmed that this initiative is part of the college’s commitment to providing an interactive educational environment centered on practical application. It also aims to empower students to engage with the industrial community and build professional networks that enhance their future employment opportunities.

Through this event, the college seeks to promote innovation and creativity while encouraging students to transform their academic knowledge into practical solutions that serve societal and market demands.
