Workshop on Developing an AI-Powered Interactive Chatbot

The Cybersecurity Program at the College of at Engineering Abu Dhabi Campus organized a workshop titled "Grow Together: Peer Learning to Success," delivered by student Najah Asaad under the supervision of Eng. Kenan Hassan. The workshop aimed to enable students to develop an AI-powered interactive chatbot using Python, leveraging the UAE-developed Falcon Large Language Model created by the Technology Innovation Institute.
During the workshop, participants learned how to install, configure, and code the model, which can answer questions dynamically in a human-like manner. Students were also introduced to AI infrastructure, including the use of Google Collaboratory.
The college emphasized that organizing this workshop reflects its commitment to providing hands-on learning opportunities that keep students aligned with advancements in artificial intelligence and emerging industry demands. This initiative also supports encouraging students to participate in global AI events, ensuring graduates are equipped with the skills and expertise needed to excel in this rapidly evolving field.
