First Aid Training Workshop in collaboration with the Red Crescent

The Deanship of Student Affairs at Abu Dhabi Campus, in cooperation with the Emirates Red Crescent, organized a first aid training workshop presented by Professor Abdullah Al-Mohammad. The workshop aimed to enhance students' health awareness and equip them with essential skills for handling various emergencies and injuries.
The workshop covered several important topics, including the concept and objectives of first aid, its basic principles, proper communication with emergency services, and how to manage fractures, bleeding, wounds, and seizures.
The workshop saw a strong turnout of students, staff, and visitors. Participants engaged in practical exercises and field training to learn how to deal with choking, burns, and other emergency injuries. They also received training in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), enabling them to acquire practical skills that will help them respond quickly and effectively in emergency situations.
The workshop also provided participants with an opportunity to ask questions, share their experiences, and benefit from the expertise and information presented during the training sessions. A number of students expressed how much they benefited from the workshop, stressing that it contributed to enhancing their knowledge of the correct procedures for dealing with emergency situations, and gave them important practical skills that may contribute to saving lives and providing assistance when needed.
