A Seminar on Financial Education at AAU

Trusting in the importance of training pupils on how to manage finances and promote responsible financial decisions, the Dean of Students Affairs at the Al Ain University, based in Abu Dhabi, cooperated with the Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank in organizing a financial culture symposium under the theme "SmartMoney" which included a questionnaire to attend the symposium in order to identify the attitudes and thoughts on how to oversee the finances. Members of  academic and administrative bodies and university students attended the symposium.

This symposium is part of a campaign launched by the Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank, entitled "SmartMoney". It’s a financial education designed to enhance the awareness of all members of society, and particularly university students how to handle their money and encourage them to make responsible financial decisions to be prepared for life's challenges.

Mr. Hassan Ali Al Nowais, Deputy Director of  the Marketing Department of the bank, presented a  lecture on the most important subjects of focus for the effort and gave many points along the importance of fiscal education and financial planning, in particular the pros early savings. He also discussed the steps for easy and effective guidance for better money management, budgeting, saving and debt management and investments, as well as risk assessment and building personal wealth.
