Awareness Seminar at Al Ain University

The Deanship of Student Affairs at Al Ain University, in collaboration with the Directorate of Civil Defence in Al Ain, held an awareness workshop on domestic emergencies. The workshop, attended by Dr. Enas Abu Libdeh, Dean of Student Affairs, as well as a number of students, is part of a series of workshops AAU organizes for the students.
Mr. Mohammad bin Mubarak bin Saeed of the Directorate of Civil Defence delivered the workshop explaining the various methods of extinguishing fire depending on its source; solid, liquid, or gas. He also illustrated the preliminary measures to be followed in the event of fire or gas leak. In addition, Mr. Mohammad bin Mubarak underlined the importance of having a fire extinguisher at home and the proper ways of checking and maintaining it. Finally, the workshop included a demonstration on how to use fire extinguishers in different cases.
