Student visit to the Abu Dhabi Media Company (The National News)

Organized by the deanship of students Affairs (at Abu Dhabi), in cooperation with the English Language Center, a field visit to the Abu Dhabi Media Company-The National News on 14/04/2015.
The purpose of the visit was to identify the students to the newspaper sections, and how to edit and publish news in the newspaper. The news company delegate gave the students and faculty members a detailed explanation of the workings of the newspaper and the sources they use for gathering information. At the end of the visit, a number of reporters and journalists explained their experiences and how they entered the media. The visit confirmed the interest of students and their passion for asking questions about everything related to the newspaper.
Mr. Hosni Al-Roumi from the English Department supervised the visit, and the students were accompanied by Mr As'ad Osman, Mr. Hosni Al-Roumi and Mr Amjad Oweis.
