Student visit to the Emirates Center for Strategic Studies and Research

Organized by the Deanship of Students Affairs at Al Ain University, in cooperation with the Committee on Interaction with the Community in the Law College, and under the supervision of Dr Amani Omar, a visit for students taking the Thesis Course to the library of the Emirates Center for Strategic Studies and Research, where the visit aimed to strengthen the role of the university in the field visits to different government sectors and to take advantage of mutual experiences, students’ participation and to make practical use of databases, the library and its multiple references in the legal field. Besides, the understanding of the concept index books and methods within the library, the definition of the concept of the questionnaire and the use of it within the framework of legal studies, and the knowledge of various electronic sources for research and employment in the legal field.
During the visit, the students were explained about the different sections of the library, such as the legal library, manuscripts, British documents, the historical section, the rare cartographic section and a special library for the Emirates Center for Strategic Studies and Research.
