Welcoming New Students to the Al Ain University

An orientation was organized by the Deanship of Students Affairs at the Al Ain University, based in Abu Dhabi, for the new students who have been admitted for the second semester of the academic year 2014/2015, with the presence of
the Assistant Dean of Student Affairs, the Deputy Deans and members of the academic and administrative bodies at the university
Dr. Iyad Abdul Majeed, Assistant Dean of Student Affairs welcomed the deans, department heads and the students by stressing the university’s determination to renew hope. Dr. Iyad explained the roles of the Deanship of Students Affairs, its objectives and functions, such as the supervision of student activities. He also introduced to the students the university’s system in relation to the rights of students, the definition of the academic terms, the attendance regulations and the student performance evaluation course. PowerPoint demonstration to the university’s basic requirements and the library systems
The orientation was wrapped up with a demonstration of the new campus, which will hopefully commence at the start of the next academic year
