AAU – Abu Dhabi Campus- organized a lecture about the Securities and Commodities

In collaboration with the Securities and Commodities Authority, the Deanship of Student Affairs in Al Ain University –Abu Dhabi Campus- organized a lecture entitled “ The definition of the Securities and Commodities Authority and its role in the supervision of financial markets in United Arab Emirates”, in Al Dafra hall.
The educational lecture included a range of topics, including: the establishment of the authority, its role in the oversight of financial markets and their employees, educate and protect the rights of investors, and follow up on the commitment of listed companies.
Then he compared between the investment in securities and investment opportunities in the market, such as real estate, gold and the advantages realized by the investor of the stock market, the challenges and how may they face them, types of securities that can invest, and the basics of investing, he also compared between the uses of various financial instruments such as stocks, bonds, and instruments, in addition to the composition of portfolios and investment through mutual funds.
