AAU –Abu Dhabi Campus- organized a workshop entitled “First Aid Basics”

In collaboration with the Emirates Red Crescent, the Deanship of Student Affairs in Al Ain University –Abu Dhabi Campus- organized a workshop entitled “First Aid Basics”, presented by Mr. Muhanad Al Momani.
The workshop aimed to train the students and employees on how to provide a primary care to save a life of any person who may be exposed to emergency health case such as: bleeding, wounds, fractures or fainting, which is considered as an initially aid until a specialized person arrives and provide a medical care for the patient or to be transferred to the nearest hospital or medical clinic.
Also, it’s aimed to publish first-aid culture in the field of education within the university, because of its positive impact widely in the community, as well as that the paramedics can provide emergency service to those in need, whether inside or outside the university or in any family or social gathering.
The workshop has received overwhelming response from students who participated in the training, and they have benefited from the advices that has been given by Mr. Momani.
