AAU Celebrates the “International Day of Blind”

On the occasion of the International Day of Blind and under the supervision of Dr. Ibtehal Aburezeq –Dean of Student Affairs, the Deanship of Student Affairs at Al Ain University –Al Ain Campus- hosted the blind student Abdullah Awad, the graduate of College of Education, Humanities & social Sciences (B. ED – Teacher Education (Arabic Language & Islamic Studies), and the blind student Hamdan Al Bloushi United Arab Emirates University graduate, they talked about their personal experience and the difficulties they faced.
At the end of the meeting, student Hamdan Al Blooushi presented a poem written by student Waleed Al Hmairi from AAU and the Dean of Student Affairs has honored the guests in recognition of their attendance.
It is worth to mention that the meeting saw a significant presence from the academic staffs and the university’s students, who interacted with the students in an active way.
