Al Ain University organizes a workshop about Turnitin

In order to raise awareness and take advantage of electronic information sources, AAU Library organized workshops about Turnitin database. The workshop, which lasted for two days, was conducted by Mr. Abdoulaye Kaba, Library Director in the presence of Dr Abdelkader Mazouz – Dean of Research and Graduate Studies, Dr Ahmed Al-Jubair-Deputy Dean, Faculty of Law, Dr Belkacem Athamena- Chairman of Library Committee, Dr Adel Ahmed – Director of skills development, and many faculty members in Al Ain and Abu Dhabi.
The workshop focused on the use of Turnitin for classroom management and assessment. Through a practical application the participants learned how to use Turnitin for managing courses and classrooms, communication with students, and improving writing skills for students.
It is worth mentioning that AAU Library, either in Al Ain or Abu Dhabi, organizes a variety of workshops for faculty members and students to enhance their skills to use effectively the information sources and services.
