Healthy Day and open discussion on the occasion of "World Child Cancer"

Anxious to raise awareness and to provide psychological and moral support, the Deanship of Student Affairs organized a “Healthy Day” on the occasion of “World Child Cancer". The event was at Al Ain University –Abu Dhabi Campus- in collaboration with the NMC Specialty Hospital.
The purpose of this open day is to raise the health awareness among students and staff about the seriousness of this disease.
Dr. Muhannad Diab has provided a lecture on how to fight cancer, and methods of diagnosis and treatment, while the competent employee in the “BYTE WRIGHT” company, provided a detailed explanation about the steps that must be taken for preventing and dealing with various health disorders, and how to get a healthy life by avoiding fast food and exercising as much as possible.
The event also included free medical checkups such as blood pressure and blood sugar measurement, optometry, skin examination, dental examination, body mass and weight. The organizers have also provided guidebooks about health, gifts, and free products which were distributed to the students and faculty.
