A Scientific visit to Dubai Media Incorporated

On the occasion of the World Radio Day, the Deanship of Student Affairs at Al Ain University –Al Ain Campus- organized a scientific visit to Dubai Media Incorporated in order to know more about the enterprise facilities and provided services. This visit comes from the university’s belief in the importance of combining theoretical education with practical aspects, in addition to entertain students away from the stress and academic pressure.
Mr. Yaqoob Al Awadi and Mr. Hussain Ahmad received the students and toured them across the institution. The tour started from the Radio departments, where Mr. Al Awadi talked about the history of the radio and its inception.
The second destination was to the studios TV channels and the control room of Dubai TV, Sama Dubai channel and Dubai Sports channel. Mr. Al Awadi explained the work mechanism, and how to prepare the programmatic plan, writing scripts and lighting.
At the end of the visit, Mr. Al Awadi and Mr. Hussain expressed their delights to receive AAU students and gave them some useful tips for their future, encouraging them on the need of hard working to get involved in the media field, they also presented gifts to the students and took a group photo with them.
The students expressed their happiness throughout the trip, which they have benefited from a lot, wishing it to be repeated in the future.
