Media students donate from heart to heart

Under the theme “from Heart to Heart”, the College of Communication and Media at Al Ain University at Al Ain Campus launched a blood donation campaign through a visit of the academic staff and students to Al Ain Regional Blood Bank. The visit aimed at promoting the volunteerism by students, contributing to saving human lives and providing the blood bank with reserve stock.
Media students designed a special logo and roll up for the campaign under the supervision of Dr. Ryadh Jaljali and Dr. Sameera Stoutah, they said that the aim of organizing such campaign is to develop the community awareness among students of the importance of blood donation to save sick people and patients undergoing various surgical procedures. In addition to know the work mechanism of the blood bank and the modern methods used to store blood. The visit also promoted the bilateral cooperation between the two parties.
