Business students visit the Judicial Department

The College of Business College – Accounting students at Al Ain University, Abu Dhabi campus, had a visit to Judicial Department, Abu Dhabi, along with Dr. Riham Muqattash as an application to the course Government Accounting. The visit provided students with the opportunity to bridge the gap between academia and real-world experience through enhancing social competencies and practical skills to develop their future career.
A full explanation related to the accounting process, budgeting process in the finance division was made by the Acting Director of the finance division Mr. Ali Al Hosani along with the head of finance departments sections, who gave the accounting students a full explanation about the Finance Department Sections in Judicial Department, government Sector how they shifted from cash basis to accrual basis, and now they are applying the Modified Cash basis. Moreover; they explained the process of recording and managing all financial transactions incurred by the government, including its revenues and expenditures.
