College of Education organises 3 exhibitions to engage with the community
The College of Education, Humanities and Social Sciences at Al Ain University, Abu Dhabi campus, organized three exhibitions to promote the communication with the community.
The Tolerance in Education Exhibition, the World Mental Health Day Exhibition, and the Arabic Language Day Exhibition, were organized by Dr. Salwa Al Majali and a number of academic staff from the College of Education, and opened by Dr. Noor El Deen Atatreh, AAU Chancellor, accompanied by Dr. Amer Qasem, AAU Vice President, Deputy Deans and visitors.
The first exhibition aims to translate the values of tolerance in various activities and events such as sports and interfaith. The second exhibition coincided with the World Mental Health Day, reviewed the results of students visits of applied psychology course to different governmental and private institutions in order to raise awareness of the importance of employee mental health and its positive impact on increasing the sense of belonging to the workplace and increasing motivation and productivity. On the third exhibition, students presented some distinguished projects which stressed the importance of the Arabic language.
It is worth to mention that, the three exhibitions witnessed a remarkable turnout from the attendees who expressed their admiration for the exhibits and the organization.
