Al Ain University Delegation Supports Innovation and Scientific Research

A delegation from Al Ain University participated in the “Date Palm Research and Products” Exhibition, organized by United Arab Emirates University in collaboration with Khalifa International Award for Date Palm and Agricultural Innovation. The exhibition showcased the latest research and scientific innovations related to date palms, their products, and sustainable applications, with the aim of supporting researchers and students while encouraging the transformation of local resources into innovative solutions and applications that serve society and contribute to sustainable development.
The university was represented by Prof. Mousa Bani Baker, Director of the Water, Energy, and Sustainability Center; Prof. Musab Arafat, Deputy Dean of the College of Pharmacy; and Dr. Yazan Ranna from the College of Pharmacy. During the exhibition, the delegation explored a range of research projects and scientific innovations presented by researchers and students and gained insights into the latest developments in sustainability, agricultural innovation, and the effective utilization of natural resources.
Al Ain University’s participation reflects its commitment to supporting scientific research and innovation, fostering a culture of creativity and entrepreneurship among students and researchers, and engaging with national initiatives that help develop innovative solutions to developmental challenges, while reinforcing the role of academic institutions in serving society and advancing the knowledge economy.
