A Visit for AAU students to ITNL Company

As part of the English for Business 1 course, the ELTE Department at Al Ain University, Al Ain campus, has organized an educational trip for students to the ITNL Infrastructure Developer Company in Dubai. Under the supervision of Mrs. Ream Odetallah.
The students were warmly greeted by Miss Alida Jaar, Clients Relation officer and the Business Development Manager, who also participated in conducting a lecture on Leadership with her colleagues Mr. Kuljit Ahluwalia, Associate Director, and Miss. Anshul Malik, Project Control Manager.
The theme of the trip was ‘’Leadership in Management’ and its objectives are: Identify leadership, what are its qualities and types, show how do you manage and lead your teams, give a demo on motivation, confidence, communication skills and integrity, guide the students how to develop their leadership skills, and explain what technological applications are needed to help leaders be more effective.
The students were very impressed and recommend to conduct material related, out-of-the-classroom activities, as they switch them from passive listeners to active participants by turning a presentation into a field workshop. They have got this chance to see how companies are working in real life, and not just theoretical as they add more details and knowledge to their experiences in the world of business.
