AAU is preparing to move to the new campus in Abu Dhabi

Al Ain University of Science and Technology is continuing its efforts to provide convenience for the students, and developing the facilities, for this, AAU is preparing for the next phase in order to move to the new campus, which is scheduled to open soon, in Mohammad Bin Zayed City -Abu Dhabi.
The move to the new campus comes as a part of university faith and all the employees on the need for facilities development, and keep pace with modern educational techniques.
AAU Chancellor, Dr. Noor Aldeen Atatreh has expressed his pride to the completion of this scientific edifice upscale, the hard work to reach the highest levels, and the efforts to establish a powerful framework of education to achieve the development goals in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. He also stressed on the keenness University on the application of all the standards of efficiency and quality assurance, which makes Al Ain University-Al Ain and Abu Dhabi campuses- in the ranks of the developed universities at the level of the United Arab Emirates.
Prof. Ghaleb Awad al-Refae, AAU President, expressed about the importance of this visit, stressing Al Ain University and keenness all those who made it provide an excellent learning environment for students, helping them to obtain their scientific excellence and creativity in both theory and practicum.
The new campus of the university applies the sustainability criteria recommended by the Abu Dhabi Government in the United Arab Emirates, equivalent one pearl degree, it also applies the highest standards of security and safety inside and outside the building. The campus has beautiful designs and an outstanding geometric shape with five floors in a total area of 44 thousand square meters, The surrounding are greenery with palm trees inside and outside the building. As featuring the parking lot, there are up to more than 700 parking spaces, distributed between the basement floor and outside the building.
The building also contains more than 50 classrooms, 16 technically and artistically laboratories, multi-purpose hall with an area up to 400 square meters, in addition to the library, which amount to a total area of 1,200 square meters.
AAU new campus in Abu Dhabi equipped with the latest service facilities for students, administration and faculty, educational, services and entertainment facilities, such as: stadium, gym and sports facilities for men and women, and theater accommodates 500 people and equipped with the latest communication and information technology tools, as well as the building has a food court with an area of 700 square meters, In addition to the provision of the shopping center, where it will be a source of inspiration for scientific research and various activities interaction with the community, and improvement in learning and teaching performance of faculty members and the student audience.
